I am thinking about visiting Las Vegas for first time. Therefore, I don't have any knowledge as far as which sportsbook to go with for my wager. Any information you guys can give me will be appreciated. Once the game is over, do you just go up to the window and collect the cash? also, do you guys know any good deals on hotel at vegas? I am most likely gonna go sometime this week, possibly this weekend. Thanks in advance.

#2Yes when the game is over you can cash your ticket.
Vegas is full of good deals right now. They are hurting and trying to get occupancy up. You are going on very short notice though so I'm not sure what deals you will get. Calling them and asking them may be your best bet.
My favorite Vegas books:
Mirage
Caesars Palace
Wynn (but they don't give comp drink tickets unless you bet at least $300 a game if you are a more casual bettor)
The lines generally won't be as good as offshore lines though just so you know.
Have fun.Comment -

#3thanks for the info TheLock. Would you recommend me to book the hotel and air separately?? hoping I can get a good deal by calling them around or should I just book them together through vegas.com??Comment -

#5Book a packaged deal though vegas.com only if it's cheaper than doing them seperately. Your flight cost will be the issue with your trip being so soon.Comment -

#6The Orleans is an excellent book just off the strip. On the strip, Bally's just re-opened their book, and it was nice. LV Hilton, Wynn and Ceasars are a little too swanky for me.Comment -

#8The Imperial Palace is a great hotel right in the middle of the strip. Cheap but still nice with a good pool and hot waitresses everywhere, good sportsbook too with comps if you play enough.Comment -

#13I get a casino rate at Wynn, otherwise I could not afford to stay there.
College Boy, like someone said, Imperial Palace is a good idea. Very cheap, great location. Hotel is nothing special but you could spend all your time at MirageComment -
