If you're watching ESPN, then yes they did once... why they didn't show it more I don't know, but they did show it one time right after the play happened.

my buddy was looking at his computer and i told him they were reviewing a raiders td and that it was clearly a td.

without looking at the tv, he says " its the raiders, they will change the call as a F you to Al davis"

then they changed it, and he looks up and says " i told you"

Please explain a player running towards the endzone reaches for the endzone while getting tackled breaks the plain then ground causes the fumble. Touchdown right. Now Murphy catches the ball came down with two feet and ground causes the fumble. No touchdown. This is worst then the fricken tuck rule or it's up there. Damn refs should be fired

My friend had a huge parlay ending with the over 21 in the first half in the Oal-SD game.

I feel so bad for him..........especially when I see you guys all agree about the Shyt ref call.

If he were struggling to maintain possession, I get it.

But when he has the ball firmly caught and two feet on the ground, and then his hip hits the ground and he still has full possession, it's a TD.

It may very well be written that way in the rule book, but I've never seen a play like that get overturned.

Look, it would be easy to sit here and type (again) that the guys who work the second half of the season-opening Monday night twin bill on ESPN don't exude the same level of competence as the folks who handle the weekly MNF assignment.

The ball can move so long as you maintain possession of it.

Also, this poster's post is spot on...

Please explain a player running towards the endzone reaches for the endzone while getting tackled breaks the plain then ground causes the fumble. Touchdown right. Now Murphy catches the ball came down with two feet and ground causes the fumble. No touchdown

Disagree if that play happens in the middle of field it is incomplete no questions asked. So why would the endzone be any different. The NFL refs have always been big at coming down with the ball and still having it in possesion. Endzone is no different than middle of field.

I was pissed. I had the Raiders to cover +9.5 and I was afraid that one was going to be the one that screwed me.
