Has the worst came and gone in the offshore industry?
Seems like things have settled down alot in the last few weeks and the books that are still going now said they have no plans of closing their doors. Now I know this could change @ anytime but I'll have to admit,I think the worst has passed us now and I feel pretty good/safe with the books that I deal with(BetDon,SkyBook,APLUSsportsbook,DSI, BetJam,Greek,Bodog and a couple others)

I had always felt there would be several books that would survive and I think we are looking @ them now....How do you guys feel?

It certainly seems like things are settling down. My level of dread when I open the forums each morning is decreasing. But I am going to wait at least another month before I start sending money out there again.

      worst is behind us?

Well I suppose you could say it probably won't get worse than it is now, but as far as I can tell (for US customers):

      A) There is no decent way to get funds to the books that remain. MoneyGram and ** are too expensive to be feasilble long term. E-Gold, which seemed like the last hope, has stopped processing US gambling transactions.

      B) Every_single_book is either charging a ton for cashouts, has delays that would represent a downgradable offense six weeks ago, or both.

So yes, the worst is probalby "behind us" but from where I'm standing it seems that the industry is in utter ruins, so saying "the worst is behind us" doesn't really provide me with any comfort.

Over reacting imo, with Pinny and the other top books its business as usual for me.

Good luck to you. Probably nothing will happen with those books.

Nothing will happen to me regardless.
