Settle Down Media Fed Losing Was Not Some Huge Upset
The young kid Potro is a big time player, he was not some fukkin qualifier. He ripped Nadal 3 times this summer and ripped everyone in USA Open.

He should be number 1 next year barring injuries

The coach has a point. Even before the US Open, Del Potro was known as the hardest hitter as far as groundstrokes on the tour. Roddick has the hardest serve, Del Potro is hardest from the baseline. His weakness had been his stamina. But in the Nadal match, Macenroe said Del Potro had gone from a 6 out of 10 to an 8 out of 10 in fitness. That was what got him over the hill.

If he keeps his fitness up, which I think he will, he will continue to win because of how hard he hits the ball. I think they said he hit 108 MPH and 113 MPH forehands in this final. To do that with accuracy like he did, I can't believe Fed even took it to 5 sets. Its just physics, its impossible to return balls hit that hard if they are placed with any accuracy at all. Fed is one of the best movers on the tour, Nadal is too. In fact those are 2 of the top 5 fastest players on tour. Neither could do anything with Del Potro's groundstrokes.

I wonder what the record is for fastest forehand hit? Roddick has the fastest serve at 150 MPH but I haven't heard what the fastest forehand is.
