Yeah, I dont know if people are just going 'noooooooo why did you have to go for 2' or actually wondering why... but up by 5 means nothing.. up by 6, theres the small chance they miss the extra point and it goes to OT.

they would have never went for a quick 3.....I think that GB head coach did the Math wrong and thought he was up 5 after the TD.

The Bears were worse. Bail out bs penalties kept this one much closer than it should have been.

McCarthy didn't go for 2 because "his math was wrong." He's an NFL head coach, don't be stupid.

If he went for it hoping the Bears would miss an extra point then he is stupid. It was much more likely that the Bears would score a very quick touchdown which would put them up by 2 and leave the Packers a slim opportunity for a game-winning field goal, therefore kicking the extra point was the best play. NFL kickers don't miss extra points, but with Hester back a TD return was certainly possible.
