I am very confused on Matchbooks Market Maker when turned off.

How exactly does the "VIG" and "Autostake" works?

What do I add for the base value, odds, stake, profit.

Matchbook gives a weak description on how this works. Can someone explain in detail on how this works?

Matchbook's Market-Maker "MM" works as follows: First you turn MarketMaker on, then you select a line. You enter three numbers, the vig on that line and how much you want to use as your 'base amount', and the middle of your line. This will then allow you to offer both sides of the game: Say if you consider the base to be +124, and the vig is 0.8%, you would offer +127 on the Away team and -121 on the Home team. The theory is, you're making book here - you consider the 'true' value of this game to be +124, so whichever number you get, you profit. Basically it's a handy way to offer both sides if you feel you have a tight handle on the market.
