No matter how bad the call was at the end of the match, it did not change what happened previously. She had a complete meltdown from the get go when she smashed her racket. She showed no class, sportsmanship, or mental toughness. She deserved to lose.

The foot-fault should have been reviewable, and there have been a lot of questionalbe foot faults in this tournament.

With all those cameras, it should be easy to put one right on the base line and on the server (if there isn't one already) and determine if is a foot-fault.

Postmatch, Serena was ready to explode (see her comments after her losses to Henin - little class there), but someone is telling her to "better herself" (her better self being Venus?) and improve that public image. The tension was great.

Serena just doesn't look right being all nice and smiley after her post-game interviews. In the past, the real Serena comes out after tough losses - nasty and mean. This updated Serena looks a bit contrived.

Serena is competitive and I sure she has some anger issues through the years being black player in a white mans sport. I am sure she has heard racial remarks throughout her career which had to hurt her.

The Asian judge should get fired immediately and I bet Serena never would of said a word if woman was white or black. Asians and Blacks do not like each other never have and never will.

Serena has mellowed through the years and she likes Clijsters so she is not as mad as she looked.

I also thinks she self promotes herself too much and is into herslef too much and needs to be careful what she says because she has lots of outside business interests.

I agree that I do not think she wins another major, I hope she does but she is not focused enough on tennis and does not try in tune ups evens and other tour events that actually hurts her along with being injury prone.

She has had a great career though
