JJ there are so many games on these days...with ESPN's gameplan, Versus, Fox Sports, the Big 10 network-----how can they NOT be on?

ISU-IOWA is one of the better games of the day actually, few games today will match it in intensity, hard hits, and total atmosphere.........every year this game is a war. These two schools flat out don't like each either and this has been the case for over 100 years.

If a few of Iowas talented freshman get more than a few touches today, this statement will be far from true.

Brandon Wegher was one of the most electrifying high school players of all-time..........he is currently bothered by a tender ankle and did not get the ball vs. UNI.............hoping he makes his presence felt somewhat today........or hopefully by next weekend.

In all my years of following Iowa football, I do not recall this many talented freshman at the skill postions..........RB's WEGHER, ROBINSON(todays starter), and BRINSON.........WR's DAVIS and McNUTT.

A 100+ yard rushing day for the talented freshmen today in his first game as a college running back spliting time with two other freshmen running backs, Robinson and Brinson..........he looked very good.

The IOWA game next week will possibly be a nationally televised game as 2-0 Arizona visits Kinnick Staduim to tangle with the 2-0 Hawkeyes.........if not national, it will be on the majority of regional networks. Be sure to get your popcorn ready son.
