    Any experience with Sportbet?
    Hey,

I was checking out sportbet and they seem like a good service. Anyone have any experience with them recently?

I joined with them a couple months ago for their 50% bonus which is impressive although it is limited to $250 with a $500 deposit. Haven't had any problems with grading yet but also haven't requested a payout either. They are limited with many of their lines and props but they seem to be a well run shop.

Everything about my experience with sportbet has been fine, except for the fact they cut my online limits to $100 which they seem to do to alot of people after a while.....(when i joined my online limits were $250, to get higher than that you will have to ask them). However, as far as getting paid is concerened, i've had 4 withdrawals from them and each time i was paid within their one hour time frame that they promise to pay within. And in this day and age that's the main thing.

They cut your online limits if you win. But they payout very quickly (and cheaply for us US customers).

I understand this is a book that is talking to SBR about sponsoring this forum or maybe the lines. I don't want to say something on them without disclosing that.

This is a book that has been in business since day 1 of the industry and were briefely on the SBR Recommended List. Later they had a stint on the Black List too.

In 2003 this book got its ownership straight and promised improvements. They have had about a half a dozen rating increases since then with 2006 being their best year. Their longtime GM, Jake, left the book that year along with Carl the CFO. But the book has not missed a step and continues to get better.

I have years of experience with Sportbet. I have found them competent but unremarkable. The only problems I had were minor. The limits are too low for me and I get too many bets rejected at the confirmation stage - but I knew going in I wasn't dealing with Pinnacle.

Personally I wouldn't deal with them right now (but I'm not dealing with anyone off-shore right now.)

The initial online limits are $250. At least they were when i started there last summer, things might have changed since.
