Sunday Ticket costs $300 No hi-def?
I was told on the phone the bare minimum package without superfan or anything is 5 payments of $59.99? So brutal... but what choice do we have?

If you have to make payments for a tv package you cannot afford it

    Just watch your local games

Move to Canada. A package of Sunday Ticket, Centre Ice, Extra Innings, League Pass, and College foots and baskets packages for 29.95/month. Insane deal.

I inquired about getting on this deal. Yea, to get the games in HD, it's an extra $20 a month. Well that's gay. Throw in that you're locked in for 2 years and after the 5-month special is over, my bill was looking to be around $180/month, and that didn't include cable or the selection of stations I'm getting from Brighthouse currently....pass. Rip off scheme.

It's pretty standard that they tack it on to your monthly bill like this... not really a case of "not being able to afford it".

I'd have cable if I could... sadly the only one available in my unit (Grande) doesn't carry a hockey package, and there's just no way I'm going without hockey.

When hooked up to a TV set does the picture come out crisp on these things? I wouldn't mind going this route if it was crisp looking and didn't have buffering issues.

                        oh yea sorry.

                        it actually looks great.

i had directv last year with the ticket, but down here that only gets 4 games a week and no HD. I ended up watching my computer more often than not

I got sucked into that shit 2 years ago VD... Got the promotion and then was stuck with it after. I pay $109.99 for Fios TV and internet and a home phone, has the multi room DVR and everything... Best deal I have ever had. I liked Directv's programming and customer service but the price is ridiculous.
