I watched the first half and came to realization that I lost the bet, so I counted it as a loss and went down to play $100 baccarat.

Then, while playing in the casino, I heard people cheering so I went to see what's going on and Detroit had tied the game.

Then, Fairbaim misses and Bates makes it to win the game and just like that I got an early Christmas bonus of $41,000 that I shouldn't have.

How in the world do you win the game after throwing 5 picks?

In their last 10 games against each other, whoever was favored won SU and that's the only hope I had of Detroit coming back to win and sure enough they pulled out a miracle win.

Now my wife wants $1,000 to gamble in the casino.
      can't get luckier than this

take the Jets next Sunday at home v Colts they are only -3 get it right now before it goes up

Lions play Jags at home. maybe parlay Lions with Jets for better odds. Put 10k on it. Pretend that you lost 27k today

Detroit played so horribly in the first half that I was 99.99% sure that I lost the bet so on the way to the casino floor at the half time, I actually thought about ripping up the tickets and throwing them out.

That would have been a very costly mistake if Borgata and Bally's won't cash my ripped up tickets. I'm going to have to ask about that when I cash them tomorrow.

Yes, this was the luckiest win I ever had.

I will take a look at what you suggested and see if I end up pulling the trigger.

What kills me is this. After seeing how 9 out of 10 underdogs covered before the 4 PM games, the first thing that came up in my head was to bet the three 4 PM games in a parlay for $5,000 and that would cover my $27,000 bet if it lost since that parlay would have paid $30,000. Sure enough that stupid ass parlay won if I made the bet.

I loved Pittsburgh and wanted to bet $22,000 on them and I didn't pull the trigger on that either.

I need to become a robot and just bet the damn things that come up in my head instead of thinking and analyzing too much. which then leads to no bet. Some will lose, but I will probably make a LOT more if I took all of the shots that come to my head.

well, you have money to bet. you just need to trust your instincts and wait for situations and scenarios to playout and develop with the NFL

like the Saints, they fired their coach so today they were classic underdogs at home in the first game with a new coach or interim coach

              they won!

Colts did that with Jeff Saturday in 2022 v the Raiders after finally canning Frank. Won a game, then covered v Eagles losing by 1 then lost another 6 in a row to end the season

Saints may stay hot next week at home v the Browns and Winston... but Winston was on the Saints so that's another interesting angle and the Saints Browns game is kind of 1 to look at for next week. Might be higher scoring than anticipated.

Right there with you pal, in terms of 1 of my luckier wins. Total tilt play once the Lions cut it to 10 after losing a shitload earlier.

Here just how lucky that was you mentioning the 5 INTs

Yes, I saw about that on ESPN when I was back in my hotel room. We could not have been any luckier with that game.

Great win on your parlay! I need to learn how to make parlay bets with plus money.

While I was in the casino playing baccarat, I wasn't watching the game nor score watching on my phone because I already gave up on the bet. Because of people screaming all of sudden, I walked over to see what's going on and saw that Detroit had just tied the game which I just couldn't believe it. Then, Fairbaim misses it because of a slightly bad snap/hold and Bates makes his kick by the skin of my teeth to win the game. It was Detroit's defense that held Houston from getting any closer; otherwise I'm sure Fairbaim would have made his kick and either Detroit loses in regular time or possibly go to OT which then who knows what would have happened.

I just couldn't believe my luck with that game.

they will take it easy on the jags chilling at home who have to play mac jones now

then they will travel a short distance into another dome and smack flacco with that pressure man defense and now they have another pass rusher who they got from the browns

Eagles are a little deeper team than Detroit.
Vikings are my third choice behind Phi. and Det.

A few weeks ago, I thought the team formerly known as the Redskins were primed to make a deep January run, but they're going to need another year of seasoning I reckon.

Keep an eye on the LA Rams tonight.
Stafford has Cooper, Puka, Tutu, and all his rowdy friends all healthy.
                        Don't sleep on the Rams.

                              Can I get any luckier?

The Packers barely blocked that kick and the ball hit the crossbar and bounced back. That missed kick won me almost $11,000 including the original wager amount of $4,000.

Ever since that Detroit ML win last weekend, I can't lose in casinos and I haven't lost in sports betting.

What the hell is going on???

Now I posted this shit, I think I have to be really careful and I may have to lay off gambling for a while. LOL

However, I'm sad about one thing though.

I was 99.99% sure that I lost this parlay, so I was ready to drive back to Parx casino to wager $11,000 on Denver but for some unknown reason I decided against it. If I made that bet, it would have been the easiest win ever as Denver won by 32 when they were favored by only stinking 2. Not only that since I won this parlay unexpectedly, it would have been a nice icing on the cake.
