After analyzing the data that's available now, slight edge to Harris in popular votes, but Trump carries the electoral votes by 20 + that should get him elected.

But all that could change in the next six hours, and after 2016 no pollster is calling this early.

Early returns pointing Trump's way. But should that be a surprise based on the states coming in? Florida was only going one way.

Heartland states easily to Trump. One could argue that the +260 is an over-reaction.

*If Trump is > 24% in Madison WI (which is very much pro-DEM), edge to Trump. And Trump is currently doing better than that in Madison.

Voters aren't dummies. They're voting against DEMs.

Goes back to the economy. When people feel the brunt of inflation, they're going to pin it on the sitting party. If your voters are un-happy, they will let it be known at the polls.

The ace up Trump's sleeve was that he was running against a moron. Seriously - aside from her gender she didn't have a single political skill or attribute to help boost her appeal. Her campaign considered an interview a liability - it's amazing she was even on top of the ticket when you think about it. But there we were on Election Day.

I heard one interesting tidbit from the Trump camp. They knew it was going to be a challenge to break the DEM voter constituency. DEMs were going to be strong on hardcore DEM voters that don't budge, females and minorities.

The Trump camp tried to push voter turnout on White males. Sounds obvious, but he won.
