This game is pretty much the season for the Jets. They can't afford to lose a H2H on their home turf against the current division leader. Also you could get some favorable officiating for team green tonight, considering the league doesn't like anyone to stray too far from the pack in terms of a lead, and the Jets appear to be the only team to threaten the Bills since the Fins are without Tua and the Pats are a garbage heap.

The officiating angle is the only one I buy a little. I don't trust the Jets coaches. One of the worst staffs in the entire league

Yeah but one of those doinks was after a short touchdown run called back by a hold.

And one of the made field goals was after a first and goal from the 3 yard line.

Jets are leaving tons of points out there tonight.

The NFL is a terrible league to be honest. I mean I love football, but this iteration where yellow laundry becomes the centerpiece of the action is an abomination. The roughing calls are some of the worst penalties in all of sports. They're completely subjective and often times require the defender to suspend the law of physics. I could go on and on but it doesn't matter, people will devour whatever circus is thrown in front of 'em.

It’s hard to watch. I can hardly tell what a penalty is or isn’t at this point. How do you even coach or play? The roughing calls… just put the QB in a bubble with an opening to throw. It’s awful.

They can literally call holding or pass interference on every single play. And personal fouls. That hold on the jets center with 2:12 to go that negated a 3rd and manageble at the bills 39 that instead made it 2nd and long at their own 40 was a phantom call. It was really a joke of a game and I never thought that I would say I've enjoyed watching college much more than the nfl this year.

I don't think anyone is blaming the officials for the Jets loss. They're saying the officiating was bad in general, and these poorly officiated games aren't outliers, they're commonplace. It's gotten to the point where anytime a crucial play in a game happens, I don't even react anymore, I just wait to see if there's a flag.

As for Zuerlein, he had a couple of doinks but the wind was wreaking havoc with kicks tonight. Bass also missed a FG as well as a PAT.

When Breece Hall gets you all the way down to the 3 yard line for a first and goal, you shouldn't be trotting out the kicker anyways. The Jets were just letting the Bills off the hook. Then they had another deep possession resulting in a short touchdown run nullified by a holding penalty that didn't even affect the play. So now all of a sudden you're 3rd and goal from the 11 yard line, that's a world of difference.
