3) Lookahead spot to another home game versus top-ranked Texas.
Does Ball St sound appealing when you line it up with Alabama and Texas? Pavia played thru injury in the game @Kentucky. He played thru a knock in the 4th quarter.
The Vandy coaching staff will want to play Texas. It's just about getting thru this game. So, I could see some combination of:
a) Not running Pavia as much.
b) Very slow pace which feels like running clock.
c) Even sitting out Pavia some series.
Follow-up on this. Joey Knish (Hit the Books) reported that the Pavia angle has some merit.
*If Vandy builds a working margin, Pavia could be sent to the bench. Vandy coaches do not want to over-use him today.

Needed a better runout on two games:
*FlaSt: easily won the stats. Gifted turnovers in a game they should have won S/U.
*Coast Carol: looked like LA-Laf would polish off the game and win by 3. They hit a 59-yard TD pass @2:00.
