*UCF: I don't really care who plays QB. Brown was a pretty big recruit.
...Big12 is a conference of parity. The points may play out as too fat.
*FlaSt: Un-thinkable line, based on pre-season view. If they care, good value.
*Charlotte: I'm expecting QB Brown to miss. But they've played better with backup Purdie. Based on talent, this matchup is more equitable than the line suggests.

Talk about a let-down spot for Vanderbilt:
1) Off the biggest win in school history over Alab.
2) Follow it up with an impressive road win @ Kentucky.
3) Lookahead spot to another home game versus top-ranked Texas.
Does Ball St sound appealing when you line it up with Alabama and Texas? Pavia played thru injury in the game @Kentucky. He played thru a knock in the 4th quarter.
The Vandy coaching staff will want to play Texas. It's just about getting thru this game. So, I could see some combination of:
a) Not running Pavia as much.
b) Very slow pace which feels like running clock.
