6 dead from Monday night's rampage, including the 18-year-old gunman shooting people at random.

I'm not against gun ownership, but parents have got to protect weapons from these kids who will do these things on an impulse. Unreal.

I own several guns(have a large gun safe), and think that it more of an issue with society in general. As a kid growing up in Dallas TX( mid 70s) I always had access to guns, since my parents owned several. I walked by a unlocked glass/wood gun cabinet in our den for years, and never thought about going out and killing anyone.

In my opinion its not an issue with guns, its an issue with parents not raising their kids worth a damn anymore. I didnt see who the news said were the owners of the guns, but here in FL you can buy a shotgun/rifle at 18, must be 21 or older to buy handuns. Not wanting to start a pro/anti gun debate,so all this is just my very humble opinion.

Just saw on the news the kid shooter was a refugee from Bosnia, for whatever thats worth.

Its sad, everyone will have an opinion on whos to blame... But in NYC, where I live, it would be a MESS if everyone was packing... Its a mess as it is...
