Iowa vs Iowa St
I am really leaning to Iowa St. +7. Here are a few reasons
Iowa St has covered the spread 9 out of the last 10. The game has been close for the last decade with the only exception being in 05 when Iowa St won 23-3.
The Iowa St O-line has a huge size advantage over the Iowa D-line. In an interview with Iowa's linebacker Pat Angerer he says their defense isnt looking forward to facing Iowa States spread offense. The team really doesnt seem fired up to play after the horrible showing last weekend. Iowa has no playmakers at wideout. Moeaki is there main reciever and hes not that impressive. Hawkeyes O-line gave up 4 SACKS against Northern Iowa!!! Granted the Cyclones arent a powerhouse but they did put up 34 on a scrub team while the hawkeyes snuck away with a win after putting up on 17 on NORTHERN IOWA! This is a huge rivarly in the state of Iowa and jack trice stadium isnt the shoe or the swamp but its still gonna be a rowdy crowd.
