Yeah I should be used to it after so many years but it does hurt.

After 18 weeks this thread was showing 22% profit on turnover (bettering my overall 2025 return of 15.1%) but now it's shaping like this is going to be the 8th successive losing week and profit down to only just a passable 5%.

Honestly, not many bettors understand the Decimal odds. Most are used to 11-to-win 10.

You're kind of right thinking that, but in reality the decimal country users have a WAY tougher time getting their heads around US Odds than Americans do with Decimal.

Fair point, Opti. I can say that Americans think in terms of Spread. It's 11-to-10, but many bettors just ignore the Juice. Americans become so fixated in their staunch opinion. American public-opinion can be tilted to one-side, just my opinion.

Only rarely do I ever suggest any odds requirement.

I don't see it requiring any super math to figure out how much one needs to bet at US odds to return a given value.
Only a basic calculator.

eg:
-110 returns $1.90909 per dollar wagered
To return 5 units (say $500) at -110:
$500 divided by 1.90909 =$262

All my sports betting is conducted on a European platform using decimal odds and they're what I post here.
