The moment the line ups were out , the line on Rakow dropped 20+ pts. Both are rotating a few players , but Rakow have the deeper bench and should control the midfield. Lodz are sitting last in the standings so the choice was made to make wholesale changes. Rakow are worth over 5x the value , play in European competition on the 6th , while Lodz play a day earlier in league play. Rakow seem to be the team with an actual interest in this Cup competition

I don't usually lay the heavy lumber on 3rd tier games , but this one deserves to be an exception. Nimes are a demoted side from League 2 while Epinal were promoted from National 2 ( one step up from " Pub League Football " ). Nimes sit in 6th place, in large part to the 7 draws in 11 games. Those draws come against much better sides , like Dijon whom Epinal lost 4 - 1 to recently. Epinal sit dead last in the league , and have yet to win a game in the 11 played to date ( 0 W - 4 D - 7 L ).
