Transfer values are $17 mill for Libertad vs $5 mill for Ameliano ). The weather is a very humid 32c in Asuncion tonight , making it a long night for Ameliano , chasing shadows in the heat.

Indeed I did

Looked at all the stats , injuries etc. Went with BC -8 and posted it. Only 5 minutes later it was 8.5 when I went to place the bet. It pissed me off so I didn't put it in. I took it off the post

Who knows , maybe I revisit the play later

Weekend league matches: General advice

The first weekend of major European league games after an international break are quite tricky. You have to know what percentage of the starting lineups were involved in international assignments. Some players do return to the leagues after such matches travel-fatigued and/or with considerable injuries - which makes some of the matches somewhat difficult to cap. So thread lightly. Just saying!

The same applies for European Club play. Line ups are shuffled , travel fatigue and nagging injuries etc. With the International break , they extended the time between International games and League play to accommodate some of the concerns listed above.

Stuttgart are a very decent side. Union are a smaller club that made huge progress over a 5 year period and secured Bunesliga status. They are too thin in talent to carry over into German Cup , League and Ch League ( lost 7in a row ). With a huge game vs Napoli on Tuesday in Ch League , its a great spot for Stuttgart ( crazy price imo - 2.63 / + 163 now )

Coach Teuchel has a very attack minded formation ( 4 - 2 - 3 - 1 ). The combo of Kane , Musiala , Sane , Coman should control the possession game against a 19 year old Gruda , Ajorkue the oft benched forward. Bayern are still shuffling the back line to find a combination that works , so BTTS is a consideration. 17c in Mainz , which is decent weather for the northern city.

On paper this looks like a mismatch. When the season ends , Valladolid will be a part of the promotion process and Andorra will be battling relegation. Its a lousy 14c and rainy in Valladolid , which neutralizes Valladolid's midfield possession a tad.

These 2 are at the very depths of League 1 standings. A true battle of the inept. Lyon are traditionally among the leaders , so their demise is shocking. Injuries are no longer a crutch for Lyon to use since the International break helped. It's urgency time for Lyon. Great price , easiest opponent available
