He actually use to go to one of those trading stations where you pay a weekly fee to trade stocks in real time, the company supplies to direct trading access to the floor. All you needed was an account somewhere. It was big a while ago when we were in the bull run. It basically was an office with pcs, ect and you had your own desk and phone.
