Need to see the lines obviously, but there is a good chance I'll be on USC, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Tulane next week.

    What about you guys?

USC (Ohio State/Big Ten fade in a huge game)

Don't even know any other matchups

      VD,
What do you think the lines are going to be for those games?

      USC at OSU

      Notre Dame at Michigan

      Purdue at Oregon

      BYU at Tulane

I'm looking at Ga. Tech at home vs. Clemson on Thursday night. And Army at home against Duke. And the Georgia/South Carolina under.

I'm terrible at guessing lines Doc! I'm hoping for something like...

        USC -6
        Notre Dame -9
        Oregon -6.5
        Tulane +26.5

But I'm probably waaaaay the hell off

Notre Dame will not be a 9 point favorite

It will be around 7 after Michigan came out blazing

              USC -6 - Lean USC at -6
Notre Dame -9 - Would like to look hard at Michigan +9 at home
Oregon -6.5 - I think the Ducks will cover at touch at home against the Boilers
Tulane +26.5 - A lot of points, but Tulane is bad and their home field advanage is nil.

But I'm probably waaaaay the hell off
              Just my 2 cents...

Dave I do not recommend laying more than a TD on a road team in The Big House after Michigan has been the laughing stock of the country for the past 2 weeks

I don't recommend laying any points. I'd back Michigan

With Purdue's nice day and Oregon completely embarrassing themselves on national television both on and off the field, no matter what the line is, you can guarantee it's off of the "true line" as bookies will take into account people ready to bet against Oregon.

Just a lean, and I'll have to do my homework on it like all other games.

But Tulane just got embarrassed at home and will be fired up to take on the team that just beat Oklahoma.

BYU on the other hand has to be feeling invincible right about now, and I can't see them taking prepping for Tulane all that seriously.

If it's a LOT of points, it'll get a look. I don't disagree that it's a really bad football team.

Very fair assessment. We'll see what the spread ends up being. Notre Dame just might be real this season, and I wouldn't mind grabbing some wins before everyone comes around.

This is not your regualar fired up team. Hell they were fired up against Tulsa. They are very very weak. And they tackle very poor. JUST A BAD TEAM

I'll probably concentrate on fading anyone who gets overvalued thanks to a cupcake blowout this week.

                                Dave,

How can you have any leans. I still haven't finished this weekend, I"m trying to update my power ratings based on the games but even that has been going slow. also looking towards next weekends NFL to see if there's value in betting early.

GT -4ish vs. Clemson (thurs night in ATL).

clemson has a poor history on thursday night

clemson barely won at home last year while GT was using 3rd and 4th string QB, backup RB's.

in addition i favor Paul Johnson having all summer to form a game plan over Daba Swinney.

clemsons d looked good yesterday, but the MTSU qb ran up the gut for 5+ yds on several occasions. thats not a good sign vs the triple option.
