    going underground ?
I just gave my local bookie a call, and he set me up an account, with what seems to be an offshore book, and to my surprise they offer a ton of stuff, all sports, props etc.they seem to be using the same software as betcris. the site is very basic, no flashy promos etc. but very complete. even an online casino and horses, 6 years ago he couldn't even get me quarters on nba. with all the crazy FBI stuff going on, I can't help but to think that this might be the way to go, back to the good old days of meeting your local bookie at the corner bar and exchanging paper bags. I'm a little worried though as far as maybe being seen or getting heat, but going underground with a credit account seems to be a better way to do things. anyone else going in the same direction? or have any thoughts on where the sports betting business is going?

I got a local but still use online as well. I don't like to have credit with anyone. I personally would rather have to have money in an account but they both come in handy...

A lot of bookies are using these services to do their accounting and to keep them from answering the phones all day. If the website is handling the cash, he is an agent. If you settle with him, he is just a hi-tech bookie. Either way, if he gets picked up you probably won't be able to collect.
