Anecdotally I see Saturday as a good dog day. Haven't tracked shit though.

There honestly could be some logic to this. Think about when a Team has the off-day. That's normally MON/THUR (if they have one that week).

Ties out to how a team uses the bullpen. If a team has off Mon, then they can use the pen more heavily on SUN. Saturday might be the day to use your ace reliever more cautiously.

That category is what I call the "self-proclaimed sharps." And they refuse to RISK a loss by posting early. When in fact it's a game of Risk & Reward.
