1) You only want to bet VALUE. By sticking to 5 games, Mach is limiting himself. He's not "betting the board."

2) The old ODD number of plays used to be a Tout trick. If a guy is > 50/50...assuming no Pushes/Rainouts, he can always try to finish above break-even. 3-2 means he can report WINNING DAY yesterday. Same thing with 7 plays, 4-3 is a winning day.
