Front Page Cappers

Finally forced some extra time in my schedule to track the cappers on SBR 'front page' (www.sbrforum.com). And the results for the first seven days of February aren't too pretty.

One thing to keep in mind is this includes records for games in which both sides have been picked. For example, yesterday we had picks for both Kansas and Kansas State in their college hoops match. I mention this because scoring both picks naturally brings the total for the group closer to .500, whether times are good or the going's tough as it is now.

Also, these are only the picks posted on our front page. Obviously some of the cappers post their plays at more sites than we currently draw from. And plays that are posted after about 3:30 p.m. (CT) don't make the deadline for our day's tally.

I'll do my best to get back into this thread periodically and post updates.

There have been stretches where I won pretty nicely fading that Players Advantage one. Usually if I felt strongly about a game and they had the opposite thought, it ended up being a good play. Some of those cappers do obviously know their shit.

The articles are heavily read, sorry JJ. I read all the football ones to see what research they have dug up. Of course everyone knows a tout can't pick or else he wouldnt be a tout. But it is fun to see their research.

You also have to remember that these are there "free plays" as well guys. Now grant it, there pay plays are completely different than ones that are posted. I don't feel theres that big of difference between them accept you actually have to pay for them.

The W-L records are better than nothing. I keep waiting for someone from our outstanding programming department to automate the record keeping. Either that or invent a 25th hour for my day.

They might be worse than nothing. If these touts know that the W-L record is going to be the way they are reviewed here in the main forum, then there is little incentive for them to post solid dog picks.
