Hey guys, I just wanna get some updated opinions of 5 dimes. I use them, but with all the stuff that's going down now, I just wanna hear other people's thoughts on using them. Thanks.

#2I got an email from them saying that they accept E-Gold now. E-Gold does seem like a great money transfer system. I'm curious how this is working out for players.Comment -

#5It says they waive those charges for people who "regularly" use e-gold. I live-chated them and asked if they do, they said they don't. I told the person about the email and they said "email this address."
I think e-gold trades over cash, meaning when you convert e-gold to, say, paypal you'll get paid over face for it.Comment -

I have deposited e-gold into 5dimes but when it came to withdrawing, they told me that I could not withdraw to e-gold which I found misleading unless I pay a large fee (which was not stated in their rules). This was in January so I do not know if they changed the rules.
E-gold has been on the Fed's sights since they are the favorite "currency" of HYIP's, money-launderer's, child-porn etc.
The concept of e-gold is excellent but it seems the "bad elements" took advantage of this concept and so the owner of e-gold is now cleaning-up.
It is not clear if they are immune to the DOJ web.Comment -

#8'5 dimes needs to accept credit cards and forget about E-Gold
'5 dimes is the only sportsbook that accepts E-Gold right now. Not sure it is worth setting up an E-Gold account just for 5 dimes.
5 dimes is the only sportsbook amongst the top 10 that does not take credit cards. So I can't use any of my **** debit cards like I can at all the other sportsbooks.
5 dimes needs to accept credit cards/debit cards, etc. etc. and forget about E-Gold. Not sure what they're thinking.
Other than this they are an outstanding sportsbook, and one of the few I would play at if I could figure out how to get them the money. Best bet is probably to load up elsewhere and do a sportsbook to sportsbook transfer.Comment -

As it stands right now, E-Gold, in it's current form, seems to be a fantastic method for sportsbooks to use. 100% security, no chargebacks, not traceable, etc. Thing is, if many books adopt the method, E-Gold might begin to generate heat which might force them more involved in the monitoring of transfers, which is against their core philosophy.Comment
