    neteller security problems
Checked my neteller account february 3 and found there were two transactions made to internet sportsbooks which I hadn't made. At neither of the sportsbooks did I have an account. Contacted neteller immediately and my account was temporarily closed. Checked February 7 with neteller security, they said they had not received an email to investigate my account, customer service said they would resend it.
I haven't given anyone my neteller pin or password. Just wondered if anyone here has experienced a similar situation in the past. Wondering if it's more likely someone has hacked into my computer and gained the info there, or if perhaps there has been a security breach at one of the sportsbooks which I do deal with.
I am Canadian, so am still able to use my neteller account to fund gambling sites, but am starting to wonder about the safety of using neteller under any circumstances.

I think one of the Mods on this forum had a similar thing happen to them a couple of weeks ago.

I think the transfers in that case were to Poker rooms & if I remember 10bet were involved

Here is the thread ... http://forum.sbrforum.com/players-ta...light=Neteller

Hope things turn out ok for you

You are not alone. It appears one of the sportsbooks that allowed people to make direct deposits form neteller into their sportsbook accounts, sold the netelelr account info to the black market.

netelelr refuses to acknowledge the fact that having players give gambling merchants thiere account numbers and "secure" id was a stupid and irresponsible system. Don't expect Neteller to do naything for you. You should let Mansion know. But 4 days later it might be too late. Good luck

The best resolution to this problem would be for Neteller to issue Secure IDs periodically.
