That's a good question, why doesn't Matchy have at least a $5 minimum? I'm sick of these penny-ante matches to my offers as well. You guys have no many of those people are in the tennis markets at Matchy.

Also, why is it the winning bets that only get $2.63 matched, and yet on my losing wagers they'll match the whole $100 offer? Maybe it's that old poker adage, if you can't spot the patsy, you're probably it...

They are probably using half Kelly with minimal bank roll. Props to good money management!

exactly = and as their bankroll increase, so will their bet size -- to $4 and $4.50 . So be patient.

                no big deal, IMO !

So what if only $3 gets matched on a $500 offer ? What's the difference ?

                It ain't broke.... don't fix it !

How does it hurt you ?

You still have 2-3 minutes to make your bet at a traditional book, and pay -110, -107, -105, or whatever !

Offer failed, do you still want it at -105, instead of +103 ?

Well , at least you got 50 cents worth at +103 !

Doug doesn't like it, either !, but no huge deal, IMO !

                  MB is what it is.

No harm is done to you, with somebody taking you on for the cost of a banana.

What's the difference between that and a no match ?

Let the miniscule players grow, IMO.

maybe there not happy with the odds you have put up but dont have any money in other bookies so they play minimum stakes just so they have something on if there team wins.Maybe

I'd presume they are simply testing the waters and the Matchbook setup. I know it was a change to me when I first started there.
