They pay. Just don't trust what they say.

Example: Betpop. Front page.
This used to be a good book for teasers, with a +100 payout on a two-team 6 pt teaser. The normal payout is -110. Betpop changed their payout to -105. So how do they advertise it on their front page? Betpop -105; other guys -120.

uwager is solid. never had a problem and yes agree the page looks a lot nicer.

youwager.com is the real deal. they will call you to get you to deposit but once you deposit, it is all good from then on.

They now are offering tough beats, you lose by a half point they credit you. They also have close call parlays.
