East Coasters will know this name, not so much you fellas on the West Coast, the Yankees had a pair of broadcasters in the radio booth, John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman.

I kid you not Waldman made Mowins sound like an angels choir and look like a beauty queen.
And I'm serious as a heart attack.

And I'm not ANTI-announcer. I love a great announcing pair. I think Nessler-Danielson make for a very nice call. And many of the LOCAL nfl radio pairings are very good.

*Harlan is excellent. Warner as his partner on the NFL radio is pretty good.

That's my point on a good announcing team. I actually go out of my way to listen to Harlan on the radio. He makes it so enjoyable.

*For Coll FB, some don't like him. I actually think Gus Johnson w/ Klatt is a pretty good team.

One of my favorite Coll FB tandems was: Barry Tompkins with Petros Papadakis.

Just my opinion, he is a simpleton, with simpleton analysis and constant master captain of pointing out the incredibly obvious with very little insightful analysis. To me, he was an overrated system quarterback and he is an overrated broadcaster now.

She still holds the Big East assist record while playing for Providence.

My only problem with her is when she goes into her 'hip' schtick.
When she calls a game straight up she's better than half the men.
