I guess you don’t really understand what BMR is doing and who is behind it. BMR is the future of the industry. SBR is not.

Still a tad confused on the chain reaction of what went down? Yes.. we know SBR sold. Then, mostly everyone who worked here... is now over there. Did the current SBR owner know that was going to happen? Or did he even care? Furthermore, someone said "across the street" is the future? Well... where were they 3 years ago? If they were even operating and on the map? Never even heard of them until the sale of SBR. True... no one owes anyone anything... but these are the same people that shook your hand... and say F U behind your back. I don't see "across the street" being the future of anything.

The old owner (John I guess but who knows on paper who owned what) started SBR and once it was successful purchased a couple of other sites including TheRx and BMR.

All those sites used a CR services company named Advision for development and tech support and admin for the sites. All the office staff and techs were employed by them.

The mods here worked across all 3 forums over the last 5 years or so. BMR was like the Euro focused version of SBR for most of that time.

A year or two ago TheRx was sold but kept Advision contracted to keep doing the dev and support.

When SBR was sold the new ownership, called Legends Corp, did not keep Advison contracted as they wanted to use their own sister company to run SBR. The same people who were already running Covers.

BMR then started focusing on offshore as SBR had and most of the old SBR and Advision employees who the new SBR owners did not need continued on at BMR. I assume John owns that, but again, I would not know whose name is on the paperwork as a junior employee.

So you have Lou and Genie and the other office staff working over at BMR.

There is no connection anymore between SBR and BMR.

Next time you read some poster claiming there is some conspiracy going on or its just a paper sale, you can be sure that person is full of doo doo and knows nothing at all.





And heads up for everyone, this should be the last thread telling people to go to another forum. All the old staff here wish BMR the best, have friedns working there and see their success as helpful to SBR in keeping the online forum model in this industry relevant for all these type of sites but understand that it's just not cool to use SBR's platform to promote any other site. And you make us mods look bad if we ignore it. So please take notice.
