Liverpool beating Man City wouldn't exactly be considered shocking the world lol. They are very capable.

Winning at odds of 7/2 isn't exactly an epic upset.

It's a cup game rather than a league game. Top teams tend to rest some of their top players. Additionally they haven't played as a team for a month because of the World Cup. This ought to be close to a 1,2,X coin flip fixture. I'm surprised to see Man City odds-on with Liverpool +400. I'd suggest checking the line-ups before placing a wager.

That's like saying will the Cowboys shock the world and beat the Eagles this week. Makes no sense.

Liverpool missing starting goalie. Everyone else is playing except Henderson in midfield (bench).

Man City missing starting goalie but Foden and Silva (bench).

So no one is missing any major players. Would not be a shock if either wins or is a draw.

Ortega is very capable as a backup. He was very good as a starter at Bielefeld, won them many points. Obviously no one knows what Bielefeld is lol.

Pool midfield could be in trouble today.
