    Georgia's QB Has The FLu
Dateline Atlanta. Georgia starting quarterback Joe Cox has "flu-like symptoms" that have forced him to delay his travel to Oklahoma State for Saturday's game.

Georgia's sports information office says Cox did not fly with the No. 13 Bulldogs team Friday but is expected to arrive in Stillwater on Friday night.

Georgia's statement says Cox did not practice Thursday but is feeling better. There is no information on Cox's status for the game.

Cox, a senior, is entering his first season as a starter after playing behind Matthew Stafford the last three years.

Georgia quarterback Joe Cox, who has battled flu-like symptoms, is expected to play in the No. 13 Bulldogs' season-opening game today at No. 9 Oklahoma State after missing the team's flight Friday.
According to an Internet flight tracking service, Cox arrived in Oklahoma City on an Athletic Association plane around 10 p.m. EDT Friday, a little more than three hours after the team arrived.
Cox was feeling better Friday, Felton said, but a decision on whether the fifth-year senior would start depended on his condition Friday night and today. Cox backed up Matthew Stafford the past 2 1/2 and would be making just his second career start.
Redshirt sophomore Logan Gray is Georgia's No. 2 quarterback. He has never thrown a collegiate pass, but coach Mark Richt said earlier this week that Gray also was expected to play in certain situations or perhaps in a series. Freshman quarterbacks Aaron Murray and Zach Mettenberger are also on the trip.

UGA +5 1 unit play "irregardless" of hype.

                                  Current season score (posted) 2-0.
