Yep, and the Bills the past few years have done well without Miller.
Injury does not move the needle and is not a game changer.
As LB said, "next"

One of the biggest advantages knowledgeable gamblers have been able to garner, for decades in fact, has been recognizing important injuries that DO NOT move the needle or the line.
That's one way value can be created.
One of the biggest, most widely used examples among pro bettors has been shakeups in the offensive line.
A center can be out, and the market not even realize it. The starting center is usually pretty important.
Another thing, we know that high money players may not offer room for high money back ups, but that doesn't mean as much as one would think. In the end, they are all professional players and a backup's contribution can be expressed in a percentage relative to the starter. That percentage is rarely very low in reality.
But a guy like Von Miller isn't really replaceable, just look at his contributions to the team so far.
It's a tough loss to have.

Think about it, you’re an offensive coordinator or head coach.
Von Miller is on the other side, you got some work to do this week, need a game plan.
Oh wait, Von Miller is out.
As the offensive coordinator or coach how would that make you feel?
Now it’s the defensive coordinator on the other side that has some work to do. Big plays created for and around Miller no longer work, at least not like they used to.
”For and around” can constitute a good part of the playbook.
This can go either way for each team. You never know. But those perspectives can’t be denied.

We might see some weakness in the total lines going forward and it could start at the halftime levels and even LIVE.
Maybe.

Be a tough read. The defense could tighten and become more of a team, be more dangerous than ever. Sounds weird but we’ve seen things like this before.
A star being out leading to the team doing better is more common in the NBA though, I believe. Pretty sure I have the info to create a stat for the NBA, but only have one for NFL offensive positions, not defensive. So that sucks.

Not every play is a defensive bust without Miller.
