    Trojan Limits Dropped?
From the beginning I have said we do not want any action from any professionals (Wise Guys, Scalpers, Chasers etc.) We have cut a lot of people and the number of people being cut is growing quickly.

Just want everyone to know if you have been cut off or hear of people complaining of being cut off, it is with reason. I was very upfront and they decided to take a chance anyways. We will handle each case individually and make sure everyone is happy.

We also know there are 2 types of sharps, the “Moves, Wise Guy? What are you talking about” and the rest who know. So not every one is going to be happy about being cut off.

Just want everyone to know before any talking might get started.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

It doesn't look like my limits have been cut. I figured I would probably be one of the guys since I have been on a big (flukey) winning streak since I posted up there.

Maybe it's because I don't play steam and I haven't played a lot of lop-sided moneylines (which can be considered a sign of scalping)??? I don't know.

Then again, maybe I shouldn't speak too soon. Maybe the sword of Damocles is dangling over my noggin as we speak.

    Anyway, thanks for being upfront.

Hmmm. Just out of curiosity, how do people know their limits have been cut?

The reason I thought mine hadn't been was because I logged in, entered an imaginary max bet and the system seemed like it was ready to take it. I didn't actually confirm though.

Do you have to (try to) confirm before you find out your bet is rejected? What's the easiest way to determine your status with regard to limits?

We don't cut winners, we cut pro's. You're account will have a message if they've been cut.

i find it silly that new books like Trojan advertise a LOT on boards like SBR or RX, and than cut down players who join in...
About every player here is a sharp, a line shopper, or whatever - you dont find students you can get easy money from here...

          Seriously, what do you expect?
I wonder if those new books have a plan

You can test the quality of a book by the way they handle issues. If Trojan want to cut limits of people they don't want playing there, then that's their perogative. As long as they don't go down the road of confiscating winnings and returning deposits etc. then they're not doing a lot wrong.

Having said that, if you do advertise your services on forums then you're going to get a lot of customers who aren't your cup of tea.

We get a lot more squares than you think. Shopping is fine, but if you’re shopping and then it moves 3 points, that's no longer shopping. I am here because there have been threads posted about us and I came to reply. Now I am posting this, especially here because of the number of sharps.

              Fair enough?

I was happy that I was invited back at full limits and even with a bonus for football, despite being limited to $500 and having reduced juice taken away during hoops. I believe the exact wording was "we are ready for you this time".

Now I have had my limits cut to $500 again. I don't know if Trojan/TC thought it would be different this time, but I appreciate them letting me get a couple more months in at full limits betting. I personally would like to see them offer 1000 for all players and maybe just restrict bonuses, but I can only dream.

Sure its all good BetTrojan, specially cause i dont play at your book :-P
But seriously, why should I...theres big books like CRIS that welcome any action, and have nice bonuses.
This just isnt your playground if you are scared of pro action.

In all fairness, CRIS doesn't offer -105 (10 cent lines) on football and hoops (including first half and halftime lines!!). Trojan has to be much more careful with such an offering.

I will say at least they are taking 500 from everyone, lot of lesser books just kick people out they don't want to book to.

If your laying -10, well then, your probably not all that sharp!

Bet Trojan has been honest and straightforward about all this from the start!

I have no problems with it.

A winner is completely different from wise or sharp... I'm pretty sure that only a few here are really wise guys, the rest might be good studying the games and the stats. Same for the RX... Only a small percentage of posters are actually wise..

I think it's obvious to all that you can't give a 20% bonus, lay -105, and 2k limits online to everyone who walks through the door and expect to make money.

I see nothing wrong with picking and choosing one's players as long as they are fair to those whome they ask to leave. So far it seems like Troajan has treated everyone fairly and professionally.

i,ve lost all 3 deposits to date, about $7000.i scalp alot and this book is perfect for it offering 20% and-105.i would think you would appreciate efforts to fill your coffers while making a little for myself.when i attempt to deposit another $2500 on friday i would like to know there won,t be a problem if i "accidentally" win.you guys are good enough to play with without a bonus if you continue to offer -105,but then i would try to bury you.

That's kinda funny. Reminds me of those Karate movies where the guy does all these fancy moves in the air and then gets taken out in 2 seconds.

Changing bonus promos is one thing but also going to full vig is truly a model change.
