If one were to select at LEAST 20 games(with legit lines) per year in the NFL, they not only could not hit 65%, they could not even hit 60%. In reality, the BEST they could ever hope for doing this for 15-20 years straight is 57%, and that's giving the benefit of the doubt in this case.

At the beginning of preseason Colin picked Seattle over 8 season wins .. i think he actually said 7.5

So far he has said that Tennessee over UCLA is his best bet for the weekend. (Paraphrasing some of his reasoning: Tennessee going to be better-coached this year with Lane Kiffin and are always very athletic; this won't be UCLA's year, they will be good next season.)

I bet Tennessee early in the week when they were 7.5 point favorites. They are now at 10.

Cowherd does know his stuff, and he is a football fanatic, college and pro. He also has a good feel for the emotional and psychological perspective on the game. He sees the big picture as well as anybody, certainly better than anyone else at ESPN.

I expect he will improve his picks as the season goes on. I'm happy to see onner will be tracking them.
