Even the 1 goal the US scored today was pure luck. Seems like US can get shots off but when they do they miss, shank or just let it fly over the goal posts.

US defense seems good and solid but the offense sucks when it comes to striking the ball close to the net. They need to fix that in 4 years!

They played OK, big picture they didn't deserve to win of course, but if they score early there (with Pulisic it was more random that they didn't) the whole game is different. They outplayed them for 10 minutes then the youth showed (2nd Netherlands goal should have never happened).

I agree at the beginning of the match US had their best chance to get the first goal. He kicked it right into the goalies leg at point blank range and wasn't offsides. FAIL!

Maybe would have been a different game if USA scored first which they should have.

Croatia are the real deal. They havent missed a beat since the last world cup , where they were runner up to France. Japan have been able to reverse lopsided games, where both Spain and Germany had dominated them 1st half , with a 5 to 10 minute spell in each of the 2nd halves. Sandwiched around those two huge upsets , was a very average game. and loss,to Costa Rica and pre tournament loss to Canada. With key defender Itakura out with 2 yellow cards , Kamaric will find it easier to attack their left flank.
