Pedro has looked good. Not the Pedro of old, mind you, but he has had good velocity and ball movement.

I got home late last night, and clicked on the boxscore. Impressive!

            7IP 5H 0BB 9K an efficient 87 pitches.

I have to admit that I did not think Pedro had much left, and have been waiting for the wheels to fall off.

Pedro has had some time off to rest and the phils are smart. They added Lee and Pedro to their rotation for bascially nothing. Their chances of repeating are very good with that lineup.

His Jheri Curl is unreal. Seems more thick and full then years past.

                    exactly,

Pedro, Petitte, Smoltz.. All folowing in the Godfather's footsteps..Nolan Ryan.. Probably one of the least mentioned PED users of all time.. Funny how obvious it was now that you look back on the Texas teams..J.Gonzalez, Pudge, Nolan, Rafeal, Ruben Sierra, And of course Canseco.. The man who turned 2 clubhouses into roidhouses..

Poor Gary Pettis' and Chuck Carr's of the world never had a chance once PEDS came along..

Will be interesting if he pitches in playoffs. I would guess if he looks good in his next 4 starts he might get a start.

If so, only as a reliever unless there's a injury? Lee, Hamels, Blanton, Happ the 4. Don't think both Moyer and Pedro on playoff roster and maybe neither will be on it? If Romero is injured, possibly Moyer might make it if Manual wants a 2nd left handed arm in the pen? Saying that, I hope Pedro makes it and Moyer sits!

Interesting side note... I love how Moyer has stepped up his game since Pedro took his spot in the rotation!
