UTEP opened a -6.5 favorite and went to -8 before this injury was even disclosed.

Since then it has moved up slightly more, so little in fact that I don't think many bettors are aware of the injury and how it hurts this Bulls squad.

With the loss of QB Drew Willy to graduation, losing a stud like Starks is really, really going to hamper this teams offense.

I like Buffalo -8.5 in this spot and see this game going off at -10 or higher at some point before kickoff at a few shops.

UTEP opened at -6.5 .......it went to a solid -8 and that is when the STARKS injury became apparrent to the general public. Since that time, the line has moved up to between -8.5 and -9.5 at the vast majority of shops.

I like UTEP -8.5 and believe the game goes to minus -10 at many shops at some point before kickoff.

Fishy, I am from Buffalo and a UB alumn... I agree the injury to Starks is significant BUT, UB has a very talented QB taking over. The #2 RB is also very capable, just not as fast. Maynard was recruited by Oregon, LSU, Kentucky, West Virginia but they were worried he wouldnt qualify academically so they pulled their offers. Turner Gill stood by him and he qualified but he still chose UB because of Turner sticking by him, even after those schools came right back. He runs a 4.5 40 and has a cannon... He ripped Roosevelts receiving gloves the first day of practice. He also throws BB's 65 yards, I have seen it...

UB dismantled UTEP's QB last year, and I see them doing the same thing this year... I am sitting back and waiting for the line to hit 10 and nailing UB...
