Local just added SURRENDER to his book!!
Talked to my local for about an hour today just picking his brain on some shit and he told me he decided to let people surrender their plays for half the amount just like in blackjack. They are only good for full game bets and must be called in before end of half time but how cool is that? Anybody else have a local who does shit like this?

Never heard of that. Like the option of the surrender in sportswagering, cause I kind of get a hunch on how a game will be after less than half way through!

Exactly Mikail... I am going to do this a lot... It sucks though because you can obviously screw yourself because crazy shit happens, but I like the OPTION of being able to do it.

You could probably crush that... You'd bet every game on the board, and surrender the ones with less than a 25% chance of covering.

I dont want to get crazy, because honestly that was my first thought. Ill bet everything, and then evaluate at half time. This guy is solid and I dont want to piss him off, he moves lines a shit ton based on his action which I love, and offers 3 teamers at normal juice but caps it at $300.

              Interesting...

I'd grab a bunch of big dogs, say 28+ point dogs. If the favorite is cruising, opt out. If the dog is sticking around, keep it. Seems like it might be a profitable endeavor...

I guess it would work the same for favorites. Seems like a silly proposition to offer.

Wouldnt it just be better then to play 1st 1/2 wagers?? Same juice and better spreads

He only caps the 3 team/10 point teasers because he can get buried by only charging normal juice. Only other cap is he only takes up to 6 team parlays. Other than that dude is real solid. I like him better than the Asians...

not to sound like a cocky asshole but like less than 3% of my bets are total busts and destined to lose in the first half. about 90% of my losses something dumb happens it the later part of the game

James, I play alot of college totals so those sometimes can get ugly. If I am within a TD of going over and I have the under, this is a great way to limit my losses. Like I said before, ANYTHING can happen, but its just something to add to the arsenal and I had never heard of anyone doing it.

I would think the surrender bet evens off in the long run wins vs loses

                          Pretty creative though
