NFL Week 1 Matchups that work in the Bettors Favor

Im going to examine a few games and give the best side to be on for Week 1 in the NFL.
Week 1
Titans vs Steelers -5 (O/U 35)
These 2 teams collide again, which always tends to be over the total. With the total set at 35, this game should hit the OVER by halftime. This will be another lopsided game as the winning team puts up 30+ by themselves as they have in the past when these 2 teams face off. Both teams return with most of the same team they had in 2008. This time the Steelers are playing at home and have added even more depth to their already stingy defense in the offseason. The Titans on the other hand, havent done much to improve their roster from 2008. At some books the total was opened at -5.5 but has since dropped to -5 due to a minor injury to Reothlisberger in the preseason. Look for the Black and Gold to start off their season going 1-0 in a game that will see a high score, easily going over the total. Take the Steelers -5 and the OVER 35

Dallas -3 vs Tampa Bay (O/U 42)
This is a great spot for Dallas. They really need to have a huge win to open up the season after a disappointing one in 2008. And what better team to do it against then the Tamp Bay Buccaneers (Well, the Lions would be better, but cant go wrong betting against TB). This is the spot where the Cowboys are going to light it up on both sides of the ball, against what looks to be a stagnant offense and defense that Tamp Bay is going to be putting on the field this year. This will be a big win for the Cowboys, and they are the far superior team. Only giving up a field goal against Tampa? Take those points and RUN!! IF your book also allows you to sell points go ahead and sell it to -4 for some nice +money. Take the Cowboys -3 (also sell 1 point for +money)

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
San Diego Chargers -6.5 vs Oakland Raiders (O/U 44)
As lopsided a matchup as you will see in Week 1. This matchup goes above and beyond the Dallas/Tampa matchup I recommended earlier. When was the last time Oakland has dominated San Diego lately? Its been such a long time I cant remember myself without having to look it up. This is going to be a blowout game, Chargers upon up early and often and exploit the Raiders Offense and Defense all night long. Its going to take less then 5 minutes for San Diego to cover the -6.5 Spread as they score on their 1st or 2nd series, and take it away from there. Its going to be a LONG opening Monday Night in Oakland as the Chargers come to town and dominate all facets of the game. Take the Chargers -6.5 (Sell to -7 for +money)
