Reasearch online to find the best way to watch online like want2bpaid said or you can rent until you win enough to buy a new one,

although the interest they charge is criminal.

Go to freecycle.org ask every day if someone has a CRT television to give away. Go to craigslist.org everyday and check the free listings. Walk around the streets and you'll find one within a week. People throw them out all the time when they die out/get a new lcd,led or plasma.

You also seem defeated. There are a thousands of ways to raise $200 with a little effort. Day labor agencies, picking up scrap metal,donating blood, donating plasma, medical testing, curb crawling/dumpster diving and reselling on ebay, walk on construction site work, etc. The big one of course just getting any kind of job even if it's at McDonalds or some other fast food joint.

Remember also that small leaks sink ships. All those beers, fast/convenience food, cell phone charges add up.Without knowing the specifics of your situation I'd imagine you can raise about $200 pretty easily in a month by just being spartan. It's about priorities.

BTW good luck getting that 27 inch trinitron out of the basement. Those things are filled with lead. In fact I have one sitting in my living room right now. Waiting for it die before I purchase something else. No sense in tying up capital when a perfectly good working substitute is available and LCD prices continuing to fall. I'm not looking forward to the day I have to drag that behemoth out the front door.
