What the hell is going on here? Versus is off of Directv... anyone else notice this? This is the channel that I watch WEC on... I only have Directv over Cox because I have the NFL package each year but this sucks.. I need Versus!

I called today to set up my move, and there was a recording message about this saying that Versus owners (Comcast) had not made a reasonable offer to DirectTV to continue programming.Comment -

Versus wanted a 20% increase in their per-subscriber rate from 18 cents to 22 cents per subscriber, when 18 cents was already by far the highest carriage fee paid by any company offering Versus on any package. It amounted to over $600,000 more out of DirecTV's pockets this year and they finally said enough was enough, and Comcast wouldn't budge
Honestly, I think Comcast is way out of line and looking to punish DirecTV for edging them out of the negotiations for the next few years of NFL Sunday Ticket exclusivity. My guess is though that DirecTV just called Comcast's bluff and an agreement will be reached for 19 cents in the next 2-3 weeks.
