I had a I guess Harvard did some sort of a study on students who set goals in life compared to those that do not and interviewed them at a young age. 25 years later they re-interviewed these students and the results showed that those who had been setting goals throughout their lives made 10x more than those who had not set goals for themselves. Just something to keep in mind for those of u out there who try to better themselves!

I try to set small goals for the week usually but i think i will also start setting larger goals for the month/6month/year timeframe, it was a real study done at Harvard and goals keep u motivated. Wont hurt that is for sure,

What was top of your goal list this week? Stiff as many SBR posters as possible?

Your goal for tomorrow should be to tell your professor that the Harvard Business School Goal Story sounds identical to the Yale Business School Goal Story both of which are complete bullshit.

Your goal for Thursday can to be to find a college where you're not taught by half-wits.

Geesh,we are in trouble because I think it works the opposite if you set goals and are in charge of spending.Obama and all of his socialist szar minions who are agenda driven have alot of goals so be prepared to have the national debt go up 10X by the time he gets his sorry ass booted out of office.

The most successful man I've ever known told me to set goals, write them down, and review them in a year. He said once you set them it's amazing how much more likely you are to accomplish them. I never did it because I'm an idiot.

Did he factor in the negative effect of people who set goals with high hopes, then fall short, only to wallow in misery for the productive years of their adult life?

I have many goals...and every time i achieve one of those goals I set another. I also make the goals fairly tough to attain so it gives me something to strive for. Even more important than setting goals is having a plan to be able to achieve those goals. A goal without a plan is just a dream.

I never knew the exact numbers on this but I knew those that had goals set and plan of action were always much more likely to be successful......
