A very interesting move by Winnipeg who usually doesn't sign big name ex-NFL players. In so, with a troubled ex-NFL players. Some fans have mixed feelings. There are many questions about this signing..........Why bring in a player who has causes problems and disrupt team chemisty? Of all the teams, why Winnipeg?.. This would have been the last CFL team that would sign him in my belief. I'm surprised Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, or Hamilton didn't take a chance first on him.

Winnipeg does need all the help they can get these days. So I honestly see him going well for the Bombers. Jones will help with in the return game as well as corner duties. He just has to adjust to the bigger field thats all........
Also, Winnipeg is fighting for the last playoff spot with Toronto.....with half the season left now, I see this as a good move. Jones is around 25, still very talented and wants to be in the NFL. He needs this stepping stone to show that he can still play and be a good team player. Alot of eyes will be watching his play and actions, so he must prove himself in a big way or he'll never get a chance again in the NFL.
