Yes, he's a very likeable guy. And because he is genuine and not too smart (Patrick goes the other way, he's smug and not as smart as he thinks he is) people gravitate towards him, since good guy/broey/fun is the ultimate in likeability when you have pretty solid takes otherwise (he isn't dumb). I think the tendency is for these guys to share the love with the guys that help them produce. Patrick's guys are real dorks and aren't good athletes, at all, and never were, which is I think why he keeps them around, he wants to be seen as a good guy but also it's an ego thing for him.Originally posted by stevenash

Russo does seem cool, and knowledgeable. Was the Mike F stuff just a NY thing? I can't stand guys that carry themselves in a way that they are smarter than others, when they are not impressive specimens otherwise, like that pudgy guy. A distillation of what I'm saying is that Russo was a smart guy with good takes and no annoying attitude, and Mike clearly wasn't any smarter, he wasn't an athlete, there was zero reason why he should act like he was better or smarter. Forgot about Vsin, i put Mitch And Pauley on in the morning once in a while because there on Nesn and Marquis but it gets a little boring , like the other day they talked Nba for all 4 hours so i went thru the dvr in 10 minutes other wise the rest of Visn stinks Gil Alexander how can you stomach that low scratchy voice for more then 2 seconds!plus he pissed me off because he sued the Westgate and The Westgate guys came on Vsin a lot until then.Comment -
