The show/podcast either sucks or they are trying to sell you something.Comment -

STFU already.
I shut down all sports yesterday, did some reading, caught up on some Dick Wolfe crime dramas, did a little spring cleaning and had an actual conversation with my wife and out BFF without a smart phone involved.
Oh, then we followed that up with some amazing sex and then I went to bed.
How you doin'?Comment -

#10I like "Wise Kracks" with this guy named Bill Krackomberger.
The co-host is a square (Tony Orlando's son), but Bill exposes sportsbooks who are ridiculous with limits/banning.
Not a fan of him now selling picks, but tons of knowledge here from a winning sports gambler. Only on once per week for the last few years, and I'm up to February of this year.
First learned of him on this documentary called "Action" a few years ago on Showtime. Then he showed up on VSIN's Thursday morning show with Gil Alexander......"A Numbers Game."
Never pay for picks. But he shoots from the hip, and I dig that.Comment -

#23mark madden in pittsburgh, its a radio show, 3-6 m-f
I don't like listening to him now though because it's 100 percent hockey almost, but I like it during football season and some good off topic stuff in the summer. I would say the window for good listening starts when the NHL regular season is over. It's good until the Super Bowl is done IMO.
off topic, i heard they have an unsolved mysteries podcast on odyssey app (whatever that is) the other day, but I think that TV is necessary for that, needing to visual crime scenes, locations, etcComment -

In the information age, people now (apparently) believe that they can put junk out there and that you'll feel compelled to listen.
My insight would be that you need to find one or two NICHEs that YOU like. Then, maybe it's worth your time.
I've listened to some of the "Talking Sopranos" with Steve and Michael. It's mostly too much and way too long.
Only podcasts I really go out of my way to listen to are a few Investing podcasts. SALIVATE METAL is pretty good.
And Preston Pysh is pretty good. But I only listen to Preston, not one of his stand-ins. Greg Foss is a good listen, too.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -
