    Blackjack bankroll question...
A buddy of mine has been playing BJ about 4-6 hours a day at the casino, plays the $10 table, sits down with $400 and has not had a losing day in over 3 weeks. He doesnt double up bets unless its double downs or he has won a few hands in a row, and just sticks to normal strategy.

He is thinking about upping his minimums to the $25 table, #1 their tends to be better BJ players at those tables and #2 to obviously try and win more money.

He asked me what he should sit down with per session and I had no fukkin clue so I thought I would ask you guys. Is their a bankroll % like sports betting. Like, say he has a $5k roll, and wants to play $25 table, should he sit down with $1,000 for a session?

5er I disagree... I have seen/know guys that are pro BJ players. They play 4-10 hours almost every day and in the long term they are winners. There is obviously some sick stretches but these guys limit the ups and downs by not doubling and pressing bets and walk away when theyre daily number is hit, regardless of being up or down...

The quality of players is overrated, you can find poor players at any table, even the higher stakes.

Ur supposed to have atleast a 5k bankroll if ur playing the $25 min bet table to handle any downswings. I started with a 5k roll buy in for $1300 play a hundred a hand and have a stop loss of $500 or win stop at $300. Play about 4 times a week never more than 30 minutes and then i'm off to the poker tables. Bankroll has grown substantially and I have no other job so it works for me, key is to just get out at the set up or down point.

You and your friend are kidding yourselves. You have no chance of winning long-term unless you count cards. Unless you do this, a bigger bankroll just means you'll lose more money.
