I usually dont post my own personal plays, but this one is just SCREAMING an off-line.

Seriously. This line seems way to good to be true with such little juice.

HOCHEVAR sucks against the A's ... His last 3 starts against them he is pushing towards a 12.00era and a WHIP of 2.26. The Royals are 0-3 his last 3 starts.

But then on the flip side you have Gonzalez for the A's. This guy has been pitching rather well this year and his last 10 starts (with the exception of Minnesota on 7/20) have been stellar. His 1 and only time he faced the Roays, they had Greinke pitching (and lost 2-5, only giving up 3 earned runs, and 2 hitting the Royals)

Im taking the A's tomorrow myself, $750 to win $600. That and the Vikings (nfl) +2.5, will be my only plays for the day.

I think when you're picking a game based on starting pitchers you should bet on the first five innings. Why take extra risk when you have no idea who will be pitching late in the game? I see no reason to take the extra risk. What do you think about that?

      Already looked at the bullpens.

      Oaklands > Royals

I dont like first 5's personally. I can see Oakland down 2-1 in the first 5... then HAMMERING HOCHEVAR in the 6th or 7th coming back to win 6-3.

But, you don't know exactly who will pitch. I've seen managers put the worst bullpen pitcher in with the bases loaded and nobody out then after a few runs are in they bring one of the best bullpen pitchers. Why take that kind of risk?

I didn't say I want to bet the other side. I might take the As for the first five innings. Of course, another thing that bothers me is this is a meaningless game, how can you know for sure if either team will be there mentally?

I only like betting on teams that are in the playoff hunt because they still have something to play for. Teams playing for nothing tend to have lapses and you can't predict when you'll get a good effort from them.

What do you think about that?
